2. CiteULike - use regularly; Bloglines - use regularly; Second Life - have started to look at but not used a heap; You Tube - search on this occasionally sure there are others but can't think what they are just now!

3. My kids use facebook regularly; they used to use and I'm glad they don't any more. I'ved used flickr, but not regularly

6. What are your thoughts on this Web 2.0 phenomenon?

answered question 12

skipped question 3

1. I have so much to learn. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with me and forcing me to become more savvy:-)

2. I don't know what you are talking about.

3. I think it's important to look at who's using it and how...I don't necessarily use them on a regular basis because I don't want some of pictures, info so openly available.

4. Web 2.0 is interactive web? it has it's uses, it's catching on quickly. comment: I do not have a google account, but I depend on google and use it a 'million' times a day. My kids both have google accounts (email) I use Wikipedia, and I also have other wikis that I use.

5. scarey, what people are posting, had potential for great good and great harm

6. I think that we are limiting our face-to-face contact by using the Web so much to maintain friendships

7. Not sure yet. Have always wanted to go on and get to know how they work.

8. Clueless!

9. Is providing many opportunities to increase the resources I can access to address the problems I raise. has a great future for our profession if we took the time to learn how to use the tools effectively

10. Wondering why its a phenomenon

11. I feel like a dinosaur, like most people my age -- obviously except for you....

12. Just another example of increasing improvements in the speed and ease of communications and networking. With respect to blogs; there are too many to separate out the useful stuff from the clutter. Although I have them useful when I've wanted to get things like product reviews or consumer reports.

Survey Monkey

Using SurveyMonkey to create, disseminate, and analyze results has been a fun experience. The types of questions you can ask and the formating are functional and pretty.

I sent a survey on Social Networking/Web 2.0 to friends and colleagues (with the request to help me as this was a class assignment) and they have come through quickly. I sent to more than 10 people and am still waiting for more to respond, but 10 have already responded.

Our age is showing, as many of my respondents have no idea what I am asking about...but some do and their comments are thoughtful. I structured about 5 single multiple choice items; one multiple, multiple choice; and two places for comments.

I think I've added an invitation to the survey here. (It should pop up once) If it doesn't pop-up, try this (?) Here is a link to the survey:

Using Camtasia

Here is my first try at using Camtasia. It is based upon the PowerPoint I used with Impatica, though I think this format for introducing Quandary is better.

Here it is:

Stressed out

I lost my blog...I canceled what I thought was just a duplicate Google account and forgot that my blog was attached to THAT account.

I am crushed.
